Beaded Bandolier Bag by Martha Berry

Motifs inspired by Moundbuilder pottery motifs.

Often in Mississippian pottery, we see similar scroll-like motifs - one spiral flowing smoothly into another just like it. Some of these motifs evolved from Mississippian pottery to Southeastern Woodlands beadwork.

Materials: Red wool, Czech glass seed beads, satin ribbon, yarn and brass trade beads.
